to protect the oil growing area of Umbria, the only region in the whole of Italy to have its entire production area classified as D.O.P.


to encourage producers to continuously improve the already high quality standards and to defend consumers from misinformation, educating the consumer on the positive and negative attributes of such an ancient product as extra virgin olive oil.


to promote and advertise Umbrian extra virgin olive oil.


to preserve the ancient growing traditions and maintain the high quality standard of the DOP and Organic Farming extra virgin olive oil.
