GRADASSI LO SGOCCIOLATO


The SGOCCIOLATO NATURALE is a very particular single estate extra virgin olive oil, produced in limited quantities and obtained exclusively from 100% Moraiolo olives, which are hand picked from 25th Ocotber to 15th November, and by the natural cold drip method. The extra virgin olive oil is extracted using the “Sinolea” machine, The olives of Moraiolo (no less than 60%) Frantoio, Leccino and other varieties, are hand picked on the rocky terrains surrounding the medieval hilltop towns of Assisi and Spoleto in the region of Umbria, known as the Green Heart of Italy, and rapidly cold extracted.

This extra virgin olive oil, rich in natural vitamins is a fundamental ingredient of the Mediterranean diet and it is particularly suited to dress roasted red meats, game, bruschetta and legume soups.

Ground: stony limestone soil in a sunny position, hilly Mediterranean climate with cold winters and hot, dry summers
Characteristics: emerald green with hints of gold, intense fruity aroma with a fresh taste of freshly pressed, not fully ripe olives
Organoleptic features: free acidity in oleic acid no more than 0,30%. N° Peroxides no more than 7. N° Polyhydric Phenols above 300. Oleic Acid above 80.
